A Family Legacy. A New Beginning.

AMG Backflow & Fire Protection, LLC was founded by brothers Austin Gallagher and Michael Gallagher, building on more than three decades of family experience in the backflow and fire protection industry.

Our story began long before we started our own company. In 1992, our stepfather founded a family-owned business and built it from the ground up. Growing up around the business, Austin and Michael had the opportunity to learn the industry firsthand—not only the technical side of the work, but also the importance of hard work, integrity, customer relationships, and taking pride in what you do.

Austin and Michael became licensed professionals in 2012 and went on to work alongside their stepfather, eventually helping own and operate the family business. For more than a decade, they gained valuable hands-on experience serving customers, managing operations, and building relationships throughout the industry.

In 2025, the family business was sold, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Rather than walking away from the industry, Austin and Michael decided to follow in their stepfather's footsteps and build something of their own.

Continuing the Legacy

AMG Backflow & Fire Protection, LLC was created with the same principles that were instilled in us from the beginning: work hard, treat people right, stand behind your work, and always do the job the right way.

We are proud of the foundation our stepfather built beginning in 1992, and we carry those lessons with us as we build the next chapter of our family's story.

While this is a new company, the experience behind it is anything but new.

Our customers benefit from more than 30 years of family experience in the industry and more than a decade of professional licensing and hands-on experience. We understand the importance of dependable backflow testing, fire protection services, accurate documentation, and responsive customer service.

More Than a Business

For us, this company is personal.

We're not simply starting another business—we're continuing a family tradition that began more than 30 years ago while creating a future of our own.

Our goal is to build a company that our customers can trust, our employees can be proud to be part of, and our family can be proud to put our name behind.

We look forward to earning your business and, more importantly, earning your trust.
